Hi

Last year, AQMLM had approximately 150 members.  As things stand at the moment, only a small proportion of these have renewed and registered for the Symposium, which is a fortnight on Monday.

This email is primarily for 2009-2010 AQMLM members who have not yet renewed their membership for 2010-2011, nor registered for the Symposium on 22/11/10.

New FAQ page

I have developed a new FAQ page as a result of the issues that have arisen during the first weeks of use of the new website.  This will eventually be linked under the 'About' tab.  Please go here to view the page.

Important message regarding payments

Hi

I am afraid I misled people with the statement on the registration email that you needed a PayPal account to pay for membership and the Symposium.  I was labouring under this misapprehension, but it is incorrect!  Sorry!

PayPal is simply the vehicle we are using to take payment.  Members should just click on the PayPal button and then enter a credit or debit card as they would for any other online transaction.  This method is quick and secure.

We are delighted to announce that we have been granted CPD approval for the 2010 Symposium by the IBMS (MD047N10) and RCPath.

The Programme is firming up as the speakers refine their titles and presentations.

Back in action!

All 2009-2010 AQMLM members have now been added to the database and should have been sent emails with their membership numbers, usernames and one-time passwords which will enable them to log on, modify their account details, renew their subscriptions and register for the 2010 Symposium on 22nd November.  We respectfully request that you do so as soon as possible, please, so that we can shake any remaining bugs out of the subscription and Symposium registration interfaces.

We have received a few enquiries from people concerned about their membership status.  In this blog, I would like to make clear the current situation with enrolments and renewals and advise you of a relaxation in the subscription year and late registration deadlines.
